What this is
Summer Camp Coordinator is a tool for neighborhood parents in Charlotte, NC to share information about summer camps and coordinate plans. We are not a camp, a childcare provider, or a vetting service.
The liability acknowledgment
Important: please read before continuing.
This site helps neighborhood parents share information about summer camps. We do not run background checks on parents who join, we do not verify camp listings beyond best-effort scraping, and we are not a camp, a childcare provider, or a vetting service.
Connections you make and decisions you make based on what you see here — including which other families to coordinate with, which camps to enroll your child in, and any in-person plans you arrange — are entirely your responsibility. Camp prices, dates, ages, and other details may be inaccurate or out of date; always confirm directly with the camp before registering or paying.
Verification on this site only means another parent vouched for the new member's email address. It is not a safety endorsement, a character reference, or a substitute for your own judgment about who to trust with your child's information.
By continuing, you acknowledge that you understand these limits and that you, not this site, are responsible for any plans, arrangements, or decisions you make as a result of using it.
You acknowledge this in onboarding and again whenever it changes. The current version is recorded on your profile.
Acceptable use
- Use your real name (or a recognizable display name) so other neighborhood parents can place you.
- Don't submit camps, reviews, or connection requests in bad faith — community endorsements and flags are how we keep the inventory honest.
- Don't scrape, redistribute, or rebuild the camp database outside the app.
- Don't share another parent's name, photo, kid info, or schedule outside the platform without their permission.
Account suspension
We can pause or remove an account that abuses the platform — spam submissions, retaliatory reviews, harassment in connection messages. We'll tell you why before suspending where we reasonably can.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. Camp prices, dates, ages, and availability are best-effort and may be wrong; always confirm with the camp directly. We don't guarantee any camp is still operating, accepting registrations, or appropriate for your kid.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Summer Camp Coordinator and its operators are not liable for damages arising from plans, arrangements, registrations, or in-person interactions between parents (or between parents and camps) that came about through the site.
Changes
If we change these terms or the liability disclaimer, you'll see a re-acknowledgment prompt the next time you sign in. Continued use after acknowledging counts as acceptance.
